KenSINGton

Choir @ Genesis House and St. James's Palace

Our KenSINGton stars performed at Genesis House in Leyton last Friday. The housing association provides assisted living to residents who are retired and some are living with disabilities as well. After we sang, choir then mixed and mingled with the audience and enjoyed the opportunity to chat with different members of our community. As always, the children sang beautifully and were complimented on their manners and conversational skills.

Choir also performed at St. James's Palace for a charity called AMAR, which provides assistance to refugees in the middle east. HRH The Prince of Wales shook Mrs. Clements' hand and chatted with the children! Photographers were hired to take pictures of the event, so we shall print some in the newsletter in the New Year.

As choir goes from strength to strength, we are always accepting members in key stage 2. We rehearse on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30. Upcoming performances include the Tower of London and Newham Festival of Youth. Please ask Mrs. Clements if you'd like more information.
