Pupil Voice and Leadership @ Kensington

School Council
School council members have been looking into charities that they can support. As part of their research, select members of KS2 school councillors decided to go to a student leaders' rally called We Day, at SSE Arena, Wembly on Wednesday. The event was held to inspire children and young people to make a difference by showcasing guest speakers and musicians who have been making a difference, creating charities and sharing their stories about rising above oppression and difficulties. At our next school council meeting, school council will discuss how they can make an impact locally and globally and inspire Kensington Primary School to become global citizens.
Pupil Parliament
Also this week, our Pupil Parliament chair (Akshay) and Vice Chair (Karshana) presented to the Trustees what Pupil Parliament have been working on and what the next plans will be. The Trustees were full of praise for how eloquently the pupils spoke about their accomplishments and goals as pupil voice leaders across the TTLT.
Choir
Several choir leaders went to Ranelagh on Wednesday afternoon to participate in a song writing workshop to help compose a song for the TTLT. We are hoping to debut this song, which will be sung across the trust, at an event this summer term. Stay tuned (and IN tune!)
