What a fantastic start to the year we’ve had in Reception!  All the children have settled in beautifully and are already showing great confidence as they come into school each day. It’s been wonderful to see so many new friendships forming, with the children playing and learning together with smiles and enthusiasm.

Over the past few weeks, the children have been getting to know the school routines and are quickly picking up on our class rules. They are becoming more independent each day and are showing lots of kindness and care towards one another.

We’ve also had lots of fun exploring a range of exciting activities, from creative arts and imaginative role-play to building with construction toys and investigating the outdoor area. It’s been a joy to watch the children’s curiosity grow as they discover new things and begin their learning journeys.

We’re also looking forward to our first local trip this Friday, where we’ll be visiting the park to explore and observe nature. This will be a lovely opportunity for the children to engage with the natural world and build on their learning about seasons and the environment.
