End of Term newsletter

It has been a wonderful, exciting, exhausting and inspiring first term of 2025-26: thank you all for your support and your encouragement.
We work extremely hard at Kensington to provide your children with the best start to their education. We want school to be a place they love to be and learning something that inspires them. We know that won't be the case for every child, every day but that is what we continue to aim for.
To do this we work to build strong relationships where we know the children really well and they know their teachers. It is also crucial to us that we work closely with yourselves - the children's first and most important teachers. Together we have supported your children to make some exceptional progress this term. This also means there are excellent foundations for them to continue progressing next term. To do this, they need to be at school, on time, every day. We know life happens but this is so important. Learning starts at 8.45am every morning. Please help us to help your children by making sure they are here, on time.
We hugely appreciate the time taken by you all to provide some feedback. We will be going through this in detail when we get back. The headlines are very positive - the vast majority of you say your children are happy, safe, learning and behaving, and that you would recommend the school. But we know there is always more to do and we will be looking at all your comments to think about what we can do next to further improve for your children.
For those of you who are celebrating Christmas: Merry Christmas. And to all of you, a very Happy New Year. I hope you can have time together as a family: this stage passes so quickly. (My youngest daughter had just been born when I started at Kensington and now she is in Year 7!)
