Last Friday, everyone in Kensington celebrated World Book day. The children and staff members dressed up as a book character. The best dressed from each class received a golden ticket and a book prize to take home. It was a great success to watch the children really engaged in reading during buddy time. Children from upper year groups paired up with children in the lower year groups. The older children read a story to the younger children and asked some relevant questions related to the reading book. The day was a great success, and we cannot wait for World Book day next year.
