Learning in Year 5

It has been an incredibly busy and exciting time in Year 5, with our students diving headfirst into a wide range of hands-on learning! In science, our young detectives have been investigating light and shadows, as well as exploring chemical reactions and colour changes using butterfly pea tea. Our creativity has been shining through in art, where we've been mastering the geometric style of Cubism, and in drama, where the children have been expressing themselves through dance. In English, we have been using the PEE method (Point, Evidence, Explanation) to analyse our class book, Little Badman, alongside sharpening our communication skills through lively debates about bedtimes and "weaving" different languages together. Finally, we've stayed active, developing our football dribbling skills and mastering the basics of tennis.

A huge well done to all of Year 5 for their fantastic hard work and curiosity!
