We have been advised by the Council not to open. Whilst there is some very limited service in some areas, Thames Water are advising that there will continue to be problems while they fix the burst pipe.

I do not take this decision lightly. It is the first day we have closed since I have been Head Teacher. Despite snow, spiders, and Covid-19, we have managed to stay open every day. However, we cannot have the children here when it is highly likely they will not be able to use the toilet, wash their hands, or eat lunch. It would also significantly reduce our ability to clean the school, which is an essential safety measure at this time.

I am incredibly sorry for the inconvenience this will cause. We will continue to keep you updated throughout the day and very much hope that we can open tomorrow. We will be in touch shortly with home learning activities that you can do today with your child. At the same time, we are very sympathetic with the current situation so completely understand if you are not able to do these. They are there to help if you need them.
