Five children: Nafees, Hana, Kris, Nylah and Afrah were Kensington’s finalists and competed in the live round. The children were asked to learn 100 spellings prior to the final; this was tested in the first round of the competition. The second, third and final round consisted of the children being tested on 20 unknown words. These were very difficult, but from the third round onwards, Kensington children leapt in to the lead.
