Learning in Year 6

This week, our Year 6 pupils have truly outdone themselves as they tackled their SATs with determination, resilience, and an incredible amount of maturity.

From the moment they arrived each morning, it was clear just how focused and ready they were. Whether it was reading, maths, or grammar, every child gave their absolute best – not just in the tests themselves, but in the positive attitudes they brought to each day. It has been genuinely heartwarming to see the way they’ve supported each other, encouraged their friends, and taken each challenge in their stride.

The whole school is incredibly proud of how hard Year 6 have worked, not just this week, but throughout the year. Their commitment, effort, and enthusiasm have been exceptional – and they should each feel extremely proud of themselves.

A special thank you goes to all the staff who helped prepare the children so thoroughly and created such a calm, supportive environment. We’d also like to thank parents and carers for your continued encouragement and positivity.

Well done, Year 6  you've done yourselves and the school proud!
