After school clubs at Kensington Primary School
We firmly believe that extracurricular clubs play a vital role in fostering personal, social, emotional and intellectual development. At Kensington, we offer all pupils, including MPA, SEND, MLL, the chance to explore new interests, develop skills, and develop healthier lifestyles. Among these, physical health clubs continue to be significantly popular, offering activities both before and after school that promote fitness and well-being.
We offer a range of academic and sporting before and after-school clubs to our children (Y1-Y6) free of charge. These clubs are open to all the children and run by a member of staff from Monday to Friday.
In addition to traditional football/basketball clubs, family cycling club has seen tremendous growth in the past year. Children who participate in this club have shown remarkable improvement in their confidence, whether they are riding bicycles, trikes, or scooters. Learning in a supportive and fun environment encourages children to develop key skills such as balance, coordination, and awareness.
We offer a range of Tutor clubs to support our children with their academic learning. These clubs are designed to help students strengthen their understanding, build confidence, and improve overall academic performance. The club leaders work closely with the teachers and phase leaders to adapt and tailor the learning experience to meet the needs of the children.
