We heartily welcome back our amazing Year 5 pupils, as they begin an all-important academic year which will pave their way for a successful transition to their final year in primary school next year. We have a very experienced and hard-working teaching team in Year 5! We have also planned out many exciting units of work across the Year 5 curriculum, which we will share in more detail with you at our Year 5 'Meet the Teacher' session next Tuesday (16th September) at 3:30pm. We have also sent out the presentation slides with all the relevant Autumn 1 information via Studybugs, in case there are any parents unable to make the meeting. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch with your child's class teacher. We want to ensure that we get the absolute best out of all our pupils and having open, frequent and supportive discussions with yourselves will positively contribute to this. Just a reminder: we have our first educational visit next Friday 19th September, to Mudchute Farm. If you are able to accompany us on the visit, please let your child's teacher know at your earliest convenience. Cost of the visit is £1 per child, payable via the SchoolMoney app. We look forward to seeing you next week.
