Year 3 have been learning all about London in their culture lessons. We have been looking at where we are within London, the different boroughs and the famous landmarks across London. We learnt about what makes London a city and how a borough is run within the city. Last week we went on a visit to see some of the landmarks. First we visited the 02. We spent some time looking at the outside structure and had a walk around inside. We then went on a uber boat ride to Westminster, spotting lots of landmarks along the way! Some of the landmarks we saw were Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Big Ben and we even got lucky with the weather and made it all the way to Buckingham Palace. Although we were all exhausted by the end of the day after lots of walking, we had a brilliant visit. We will continue researching and creating our very own London landmarks for the rest of the half-term.
