Year 1 Visit to the Young V&A Museum

This week, our Year 1 pupils enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to the Young V&A Museum in Bethnal Green. The trip was part of our learning about Emotional Health, and it gave the children a wonderful opportunity to explore feelings, self-expression, and wellbeing in a fun and creative environment.
During the visit, the children took part in activities designed to help them explain how they feel using words and pictures, and to recognise how others might be feeling. They enjoyed looking at different artworks and interactive displays that encouraged them to talk about emotions and body language.
The pupils also had lots of fun discussing their likes and dislikes through drawing and play.
It was a joyful and meaningful day, full of smiles, creativity, and reflection. The children returned to school inspired to keep talking about their feelings and to care for their emotional wellbeing.
