Learning in Year 4

Year 4

This week, we’ve started reading our new class book for the term — Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. The children are already enjoying meeting the characters and exploring Willy Wonka’s magical world!

In Science, we’ve been learning about how nutrients are transported around the body and exploring the different types of food that help us stay healthy and strong.

In Culture, we’ve been listening to a variety of musical genres and discussing how music can influence our emotions.

For Communication, we’ve been learning and practising songs for our performance next term — the children are sounding fantastic!

In Maths, we’ve been practising our addition skills and developing our understanding through a range of fun, hands-on activities.

It’s been a busy and creative week in Year 4
