Learning in Year 4

It has been an exciting week in Year 4, full of learning and creativity!

English:
In English, the children have been writing their own newspaper articles about Charlie winning the golden ticket. They have been working hard on using interesting sentences and including all the key details of the story.

Maths:
In Maths, we have been recapping place value and rounding numbers. The children have been practising their understanding of tens, hundreds, and thousands, and applying these skills to problem-solving activities.

Communication & Performance:
In Communication, the focus has been on our production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The children are preparing confidently for their roles and enjoying bringing the story to life.

Culture:
In Culture, we have been learning about the United Kingdom and exploring what makes up the UK. The children have been identifying the countries, capitals, and important landmarks.
