Kensington Primary School

Learning in Year 1

This week in Year 1, the children have been working really hard across their English lessons. They have been reading carefully to understand the meaning of texts and talking about what they have read. The children have also been re-drafting their writing, making improvements and trying to write longer pieces of work with more detail. In phonics, they have been doing very well in their groups, showing confidence when reading and using their sounds in their writing. Well done, Year 1, for a fantastic week of learning!
