Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable February half-term break. It has been wonderful to welcome the children back to school this week, and we are looking forward to another busy and exciting half-term filled with enriching learning opportunities and memorable experiences.

Year 2 Theatre Visit
This week, our Year 2 pupils visited the theatre to watch The Lion King. This was a fantastic opportunity for children to experience live performance and bring their learning to life through music, storytelling and drama. We are confident this was a memorable experience for all involved.

World Book Day – Friday 6th March
Next Friday, we will be celebrating World Book Day across the school. All children are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character. The day will focus on promoting a love of reading through a range of exciting activities, shared stories, buddy reading and classroom events. We look forward to seeing the children’s creative costumes and celebrating reading together. Golden tickets will be handed out to the best-dressed pupil in each class. 

Science Week – 9th–13th March
Science Week promises to be an engaging and hands-on experience for all pupils. Throughout the week, children will take part in a variety of practical investigations and workshops designed to inspire curiosity and scientific thinking. Highlights will include a Gadget Workshop, where pupils will explore how things work through design and technology activities, and a visit from Safari Pete, giving children the opportunity to learn about animals and habitats through an interactive experience.
