Science Week – A Fantastic Celebration of Curiosity!

We had an absolutely brilliant Science Week at school and it was wonderful to see so many children and parents getting involved. The excitement and enthusiasm for science could be seen all around the school!
One of the highlights of the week was our special visit from Safari Pete. The children had the amazing opportunity to see a variety of fascinating animals up close, including snakes, meerkats, scorpions and possums. It was a fantastic hands-on experience and the children loved learning interesting facts about each of the animals.
Throughout the week, every class took part in their own science activities. Many classes are still watching their caterpillars grow, and we are excited to see them change into butterflies in the coming days. It has been a wonderful way for the children to learn about life cycles and nature.
The children also had the chance to showcase their learning, explore different scientific gadgets and watch exciting live experiments. There was lots of curiosity, questioning and discovery taking place, and it was fantastic to see the children so engaged.
It was also lovely to see so many children and parents dressed up for Science Week, helping to create such a fun and vibrant atmosphere across the school.
A big thank you to all the parents who came along and supported the events. Your involvement helped make the week even more special for the children.
Overall, it has been a truly memorable Science Week, full of discovery, excitement and hands-on learning. We are so proud of the children for their enthusiasm and curiosity!
We are already looking forward to next year’s Science Week!
