This week in reception, the story builders from ‘Discovery centre’ came into school and completed a workshop with each class. The children took part in an interactive storytelling performance, explored story structures and settings, and got the chance to build their own brand-new story. The children were amazed as a magical Story World unfolded before their eyes from a special, bespoke suitcase. Inside, they found mountains, rivers, villages, a growing beanstalk… familiar characters and magical settings from traditional tales brought to life.
