It has been a very busy week in Year 2!

During our Culture lesson, the children created animal masks for our ‘Lion King’ production. They carefully followed step-by-step instructions to make lions, zebras, giraffes, and hyenas. They also mixed a variety of colours to create tints and shades before painting their masks. They are excited for you all to come and watch their performance on the 20th of May.

They have also been reading the story ‘Claude in the City’, sequencing the events in the correct order and role-playing the main parts of the story.

In Maths, they have been learning about 2d shapes, identifying the shapes and describing their properties. They have also been exploring shapes around the school.
