Y5R trip to Cartoon Museum

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Year 5 went to the Cartoon Museum, and what a day it was. From seeing original Marvel comics up close to creating their own in a brilliant workshop, it was an experience they won’t forget any time soon. The children were shown how to draw characters and set out the layout of a comic, and it was amazing to see their ideas come to life on the page.
You could really see their excitement as they explored the museum and learned more about the stories and artists behind some of their favourite comics. In the workshop, they showed great creativity and focus, experimenting with different designs, expressions and speech to make their work unique.
I was really proud of how they conducted themselves throughout the trip, they were engaged, curious and represented the school brilliantly. A truly memorable day to remember.
