Guru Nanak

Year 1 children performed to celebrate Guru Nanak's Birthday.

During this term children in year 1 have been learning about Guru Nanak and why he is important in Sikhism. They had the opportunity to showcase their singing and dancing skills to perform to the school and their parents to celebrate Guru Nanak's birthday. The children worked very hard to rehearse their lines both in class and at home and enjoyed the performance. Some children even asked to do it again! The year 1 team would like to thank parents for coming on Monday to watch the performance.
