As part of our geography topic, The Rainforest, the whole of Year 5 visited London zoo to become rainforest explorers! The children had a fantastic experience getting up close and personal to real rainforest animals, including emperor monkeys, sloths and Charlie the Madagascan hissing cockroach! 

We explored the rest of the zoo and the children had a magical time inside the butterfly tropical rainforest dome which had hundreds of species of butterflies!

It was an unforgettable day for all the children.
