SEN Intervention children visit the farm

The SEN intervention children went to Stepney Farm on Friday. For some, this was their first train journey, and they were the model of good behaviour. Once there, they were able to go off into their groups and explore at their own pace - seeing the animals, feeding them, and learning their names. While at first many were a little afraid / anxious about being so close to such large creatures, very quickly they had overcome their fear and were able to feed them without support.
