Year 5 Choir @ Tower of London

Y5 had the most mind blowing day at the Tower of London.

Let me set the scene...amongst the new skyscrapers of London - the Shard, the Gherkin, the Walkie Talkie, City Hall - and right next to Tower Bridge is the Tower of London. This building, built nearly a thousand years ago, was the stage for a truly incredible musical performance. 60 children from Y5 joined over 300 others from 10 different London schools to form a multilingual, multicultural, multi faith choir. The choir was conducted by our very own Mrs Clements and performed a medley of songs that were linked to London and the Tower. To say this was a once in a lifetime experience is an understatement. But thanks to Mrs Clements and her amazing work leading performing arts at the school, our children have this opportunity every year as part of the Water Music Festival. We were incredibly proud of the children and all of their hard work. And also of Mrs Clements. Well done to everyone.
